Employs more than 1,000 staff and over 300 physicians. Fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. Facility has 167 beds and a Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff on assignment in the state must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start. Results are required prior to start. The unit features a patient ratio of 6:1 with a total of 12 beds. Common diagnoses and treatments include diverse medical and surgical needs. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Dress code requires scrubs without any unacceptable attire, such as casual wear. The team values professionalism and collaboration among staff. May float to other Medical Surgical units as needed.
