Description:
The Medical-Surgical unit has a max capacity of 43 patients with 34 beds.
The unit is staffed with 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 3 techs during the day shift.
The night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary.
Patient ratios are 5:1.
The unit utilizes remote telemetry and EMR Meditech for patient care.
This is a general medical-surgical floor with a focus on stroke and neuro cases.
Candidates will be considered based on skill sets, with travel RNs being highly recruited.
An upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality is ideal for this position.
The dress code requires navy scrubs.
The unit has received multiple awards and recognitions, including certification in stroke care and a notable record for CAUTI-free days.
