Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Perform basic patient assessments and general care including wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures
- Manage post-op procedures such as amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries, and wound vacs
- Utilize PD Cyclers, Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, and Alaris IV Pumps
- Ensure bedside shift reports, safety checks every 1-2 hours, focusing on communication and responsiveness
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
