Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
Time management and efficiency in a fast-paced unit
Team collaboration
Maintenance of post-op surgical procedure sites
Wound care, including wound vac maintenance and dressing changes
Foley Catheter care - continuous bladder irrigation
Ostomy appliance changes and maintenance
Nasogastric tube insertion and suction
Administering TPN and blood
Central line care and dressing changes
Conducting bedside shift reports
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
BLS certification
Experience in post-op surgical areas preferred
Proficient in Meditech EMR
