Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,962 per week in Savannah, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 Hours - Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Medical Surgical experience License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS certification required Must-Have: - Must have a minimum of 2 years recent Medical Surgical experience. - Must have an active state or compact license at the time of submission. - AHA BLS certification is required. - Previous travel experience is strongly preferred. Description: The position requires coverage for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Nurse to patient ratios are 5-6 to 1. This unit sees a wide variety of Medical Surgical patients including those with conditions such as Sickle Cell, heart failure, vascular issues, pulmonary complications, diabetes, and failure to thrive. The ideal candidate will have diverse Medical Surgical experience and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care. Candidates should be prepared to work 6 weekend shifts every 12 weeks, which may not be consecutive. Clinical staff includes a charge nurse who also takes assignments and nursing aides with a specified patient ratio. Required equipment includes nasal and face masks, as well as bipap machines. Charting is done using the MEDITECH system. This role is set in an acute care setting with a Trauma Level 3 designation.
