Description:
Strict 75-mile radius from address on the traveler's driver's license to facility.
Experience required in the specialty.
Staffing ratios are 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights.
Electronic medical record system used is Meditech; experience preferred but not required.
Nurse aides will be present, with a ratio of 1:8, generally 1:10.
Shifts may require working weekends every other week and holidays as needed.
General orientation lasts one week, which includes training on the electronic medical record system.
Floor-specific orientation is two days.
Floating to all acute care areas may be required.
Population in the area is around 80,000.
Nearby attractions include being 175 miles from a major city and within driving distance to several beaches.
