Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,969 per week in Carmel, IN

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous experience with Sunrise Clinical Manager is a plus. Description: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. The unit consists of a 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit and a 16-bed Ortho unit that operate as one unit, with staff floating between the two. The maximum RN/patient ratio is 5 patients to 1 RN. One Patient Care Technician is scheduled on both Medical/Surgical and Ortho units depending on the number of patients.
