Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,983 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Ortho Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical Ortho required. License: Must have applicable state nursing license. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Must have orthopedic experience, including peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacement, and surgical drains. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a medical surgical orthopedic setting. Experience with joint replacements, spinal surgery, orthopedic trauma, hand trauma, and fractures is essential. Candidates should be comfortable floating between orthopedic and medical surgical units. Weekend coverage will be required every third weekend. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Patient ratios, census, and specific procedural expectations will be discussed during the onboarding process. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against influenza. Note: This position is subject to specific compliance and credentialing requirements that must be fulfilled prior to the contract start date.
