Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,984 per week in Salem, VA

You will maintain drains and provide wound care. The unit has 36 beds and a staff of 55 employees. During the day shift, the team consists of 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary. The night shift includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, and 2 techs. Patient ratios are 1:6. You will be working with Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. We are looking for team players with a positive attitude. Strong patient advocacy is essential. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Dress code is navy blue and white scrubs; no hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts allowed. The unit has received top patient experience scores as measured through HCAHPS.
