Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Must be willing to float between units as needed. Must commit to working every other weekend. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays. Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. This position involves providing care to adults and geriatric patients. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Rotation between units may occur based on unit needs. Weekends are required every other Friday and Saturday. No call duty is included in this assignment. The daily census on the unit is approximately 37 patients. Travelers may float to other facilities based on skill sets. All staff work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Patient care includes wound care, telemetry monitoring, and IV management. Experience in peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions is essential. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems used in community hospitals. A strong background in Med/Surg nursing is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable managing high-acuity patients and various medical procedures. Professionalism and adaptability are critical for this role.
