Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,992 per week in Lynchburg, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical - Surgical Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in relevant specialty required License: Active Compact License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Travel experience required - Experience in a teaching hospital preferred Description: New 13-week position available. Positions available for 36 or 48-hour contracts. The role includes responsibilities in both orthopedics and general medical care. The RN may have charge responsibilities, which include appropriate pay differential and training. The RN must work at least one major holiday during the assignment. Work schedule requires 2/3 weekends per month based on unit needs. Limited requests for time off can be accommodated. The facility may cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census. It is expected that all team members will contribute to a supportive culture within the team. Interactions with students and new hires will occur frequently. Float requirements are not applicable.
