- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay:$2000 to $2200
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions
- Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and promptly communicate significant changes to physicians and the healthcare team
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, surgeries, and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, recovery expectations, and home care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of adult medical-surgical nursing practices
- Excellent assessment, communication, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
