Background in post op surgical areas (i.e. vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal, and general surgery)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Maintenance of post op surgical procedure sites
Wound care i.e. packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance
Foley Catheter care- Continuous bladder irrigation
Ostomy appliance changed and maintenance
Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction
TPN
Blood Administration
Central Line Care and dressing changes
Bedside Shift Report
