Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,007 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - Med/Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience. Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Med/Surg specialty. The unit consists of 18-20 beds staffed by approximately 35 professionals. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 2-3 RN staff, 1 LPN, and 1-3 PCTs. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 3 RN staff, 1 LPN, and 1-2 PCTs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1 when an LPN is present. Typical equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps. The EMR system employed is Meditech. Candidates with the following experience are preferred: - Burn Care experience. - Wound Care and Ostomy Care experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients. Ideal candidates will be team players and maintain a positive attitude.
