### Join Our Med Surg Team - Night Shift RN Opportunity! **Job Description:** - **Position:** RN in Med Surg - **Location:** St. Louis, MO - **Shift:** Nights (1900-0730) - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (please specify on submission) **Unit Overview:** - **Floor:** IP Medical Surgical - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5-6 on days; 1:6-7 on nights (subject to circumstance) - **Equipment Used:** - Nova Meters for Blood glucose - Alaris IV pump - Kangaroo pumps - SCD machine - **EMR:** EPIC **Requirements:** - **Licensure:** Current RN License (must meet Missouri criteria) - **Certifications:** - BLS from AHA only (required) - ACLS from AHA only (preferred) - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in Med Surg (inpatient only) - **Type of Patients:** Med/Surg patients - **Personality Fit:** Team player willing to provide care to diverse populations **Responsibilities:** - Utilize the nursing process for patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Maintain professional accountability and provide a high standard of patient care. - Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments to optimize comfort and care. - Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times. - Engage with patients across all age groups, ensuring safety and comfort. **Working Conditions:** - Stand and walk most of the time on duty. - Must meet unit-specific physical demands, including bending, stooping, and lifting patients with assistance. - Potential exposure to blood and body fluids. - Comfortable working varying schedules, shifts, and days as required. **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Black - **Unacceptable Attire:** No open-toed shoes or attire outside of specified dress code. **Auto Offer Guidelines:** - Guaranteed Hours: Please specify 36 or 48 hours on the submission form. - Requests for time off (RTO) of 5 days or less must be compensated on the back end. - Holiday RTO: Can request only 1 per assignment. - Offers are contingent upon facility approval and may be retracted within 48 hours. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
