This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover. Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients. Managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs. Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry. Collaborating with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Floating as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking in a high-volume setting. Epic proficiency must be clearly documented in the application.
