Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele

Location: Albemarle, NC

Pay: $2046.60 per week

Shifts: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Albemarle, NC. This is an exciting opportunity in a supportive work environment, offering an optimal setting with an advanced primary stroke center.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with conditions such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleed.
  • Perform NIH assessments, manage chest tubes, PIV starts, trach care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
  • Coordinate medication gtt management including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, and IVF.
  • Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR system.
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain flexibility to float within the region per facility needs.

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • 18 months of Med/Tele experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficient in general Med/Tele skills including stroke experience
