Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Perform general post-surgical care, including incision care, assessments, and wound management
- Provide patient education and ensure mobility assistance
- Manage chest tubes, drains, trach care, and NG tube insertion
- Utilize braces and traction, as necessary
- Participate in the Advanced Certification for Spine Surgery recertification process
- Float to different nursing units to provide flexible staffing support
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- 18 months of MedSurg RN experience
