Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care to patients with common diagnoses such as stroke and respiratory illnesses
• Manage patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5-6, up to 1:7-8 during surge staffing
• Administer non-titrating cardiac drips and perform wound care
• Execute tasks like central line management and PIV starts
• Collaborate with CNAs and utilize technology such as Epic EMR

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and provide basic Med/Tele skillset
