Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele assignment. This travel role offers an opportunity to work within a 20-bed Transitional Care Unit at an academic medical center. The successful candidate will not be a first-time traveler and must possess relevant experience in a hospital with level 1 trauma and stroke center designations.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Patient care in a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Administer and monitor non-titrating drips such as Heparin and Lasix
  • Perform skills including trach care, chest tubes, IV starts, and wound care
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage central line blood draws
  • Coordinate with supportive staff including CNAs, RTs, and Hospitalists

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Active RN license
  • 2 years of MedSurg experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR and Alaris IV Pump
