Join a dedicated team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role is based on a 14-bed Medical-Surgical unit, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Nurses maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring focused and quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN to contribute to patient well-being in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for medical-surgical patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
