The role involves providing care to a diverse range of patients, including general IMC, Neuro, Respiratory, Cardiac, and GI cases, while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers.
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 2 years of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- BLS required (AHA only)
- ACLS required (AHA only)
- NIH required
- RN License in state of TX or compact
