This position requires working 36 hours nights.
The nurse will be expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
This environment is different from a traditional inpatient unit.
Nurses will care for patients in hallways in addition to designated bays.
There will be a need to go to several different care areas to obtain patients, medications, and supplies.
The work environment is very active and fast-paced.
Patient turnover is much faster than in an inpatient unit.
