Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide comprehensive care for MedSurg/Telemetry patients in various inpatient units
- Coordinate with CNAs, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver patient care
- Utilize EMR systems, such as EPIC, to document and track patient progress
- Administer and manage cardiac and other common drips
- Float to all Med/Tele units as required
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred; must pass EKG competency exam during onboarding
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- Proficiency in all cardiac drips and patient care skills such as trach care and chest tube management
- Certification in med surg is a plus
