Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,095 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: Trach, NIHSS, IV start, PICC lines Must-Have: Strong Med/Surg skills Description: Requires strong skills in tracheostomy care, NIH Stroke Scale assessment, IV starts, and PICC line placement. Preference for candidates with experience in peritoneal dialysis. This unit handles research and complex medical cases. Common cases include complicated urinary tract infections, pneumonia, sepsis, tracheostomies, PEG tubes, peritoneal dialysis, altered mental status, and pancreatitis. Research activities include a flu challenge study involving healthy patients and monitoring for symptoms. The majority of shifts will be focused on complex medicine.
