Description:
Requires Trach, NIHSS, IV start, and PICC line skills.
Very strong Med/Surg skills are essential.
Preferred experience includes Peritoneal Dialysis.
This position involves research-related tasks.
Nursing staff will manage complicated medical cases, including complicated UTI, pneumonia, sepsis, trach care, PEG tubes, peritoneal dialysis, altered mental status, and pancreatitis.
The role includes participation in a flu challenge study involving healthy patients.
Nurses will monitor patients for symptoms post-vaccination.
The position includes research duties for 14 days of the month, with the remainder dedicated to complex medical care.
