Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,095 per week in Northampton, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Medical/Surgical Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certification required Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The nurse collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director. The nurse operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. If needed, the traveler may be asked to float outside of these units. In such cases, the Registered Nurse would not take an assignment and would only assist with tasks such as vital signs, IV placement, answering the phone, etc.
