Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,095 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Experience with neurology, neurosurgery, and stroke patients is preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in a medical-surgical environment. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4-5. This role requires the ability to float within the service line to meet facility needs. Weekend shifts are required every other week. The RN will be responsible for pre- and post-operative care for spine surgeries and craniotomies. The RN will manage admissions from home, clinic, emergency department, and transfers from other units. Telemetry monitoring is performed off-site with telemetry tech support. The facility is a certified stroke center and level 1 trauma center. Interdisciplinary support is available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. Skills in blood product administration, central line management, and telemetry are essential for this position. The RN will also be involved in managing dysrhythmias and isolation precautions. Compliance with all facility protocols and standards of care is expected. All candidates must be willing to adhere to the facility's scheduling requirements.
