Experience with orthopedic diagnoses and medical overflow
Description:
Orientation is held twice a month.
Must have prior charge experience.
Patient ratio is 1:5-6.
Flexibility to float to sister locations as needed.
Daily census in the unit is approximately 40 patients.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary.
Special procedures in this unit include elective hips, knees, shoulders, and spine.
No titrating drips except for heparin.
