Key Responsibilities of the MS RN
Develop a patient care plan, incorporating individual needs and expected outcomes
Initiate measures in emergency situations when necessary
Administer therapeutic measures, such as medications and IV therapy
Educate patients and families on preventative and rehabilitative measures
Document observations, nursing interventions, and status of care
Evaluate patient progress and update care plans accordingly
Oversee care administered by licensed practical nurses and unlicensed personnel
Provide technical guidance to nursing staff
Maintain unit supplies and equipment
Commit to professional growth and adherence to nursing standards
Requirements of the MS RN
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
Oklahoma or Compact/Multi-State RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Ability to work with Pediatric patients
Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances
Physical ability to meet job demands and lift up to 50lbs
