Candidates are expected to have strong documentation skills and a desire to work collaboratively in a team. IV skills and phlebotomy are essential requirements for this role. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6. Experience in medical-surgical nursing for a minimum of 2 years is required. The nurse must be available for weekend shifts every other week. Knowledge of telemedicine and monitoring is preferred. Candidates will care for patients with diagnoses such as ostomy, colon resection, and bladder cancer. Additional responsibilities include managing blood product administration and caring for feeding tubes. Nurses must pass a specific EKG exam as part of the requirements for this position.
