Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,128 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: RNs are not required to titrate drips. Description: This position involves floating to various medical-surgical units. The unit has 61 combined beds. Ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Common diagnoses include surgical patients such as total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general cases. Medical patients may include those with CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues. There are no nurse aids on this unit. Respiratory equipment includes CPAP and BiPAP. The unit does have telemetry, where monitor technicians read strips and the RN confirms. Shifts are scheduled every other weekend and every other holiday. There is a call or standby requirement. Floating across units is required. All scrub colors are acceptable. The charting system used is EPIC.
