Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,130 per week in Saint Louis, MO

The average daily census is 14 patients. The unit consists of 41 beds across 26 rooms. The patient population includes short-stay orthopedic, urology, and plastics surgery patients. Primarily, the orthopedic population consists of patients undergoing joint replacement surgeries. Candidates must have either orthopedic or plastics post-surgical skills. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Registered nurses may float within the medical-surgical unit as needed. The position requires weekend coverage every other week. The facility maintains a low patient-to-nurse ratio. For day shifts, the ratio is 1:4-5, and for night shifts, it is 1:4-6. On-call requirements are included in the position. Additional requirements include a maximum of 7 days of time off. No time off is permitted during the first week of the assignment. Candidates will be required to complete specific compliance-related tasks before starting. All required documentation and certifications must be in place prior to the start date.
