Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,130 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: Current applicable nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: First-timers accepted Weekend requirement: Every 4th weekend rotation Will float to other Medical Surgical units Description: This is a 3x12 nights position in the Medical Surgical specialty. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5. Clinicians will float between Medical Surgical units to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending licenses are accepted. No on-call requirements. Special requirements include experience mirroring diagnoses seen on comparable units. Patient types include Medicine, Colorectal Surgery, Urology Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Reconstruction, Bariatric Surgery, General Surgery, and Orthopedic Spine Surgery. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and a Unit Secretary. Daily census is budgeted for 8-10 patients. Patient demographics primarily include adults. The unit consists of a total of 32 beds. Compliance with all job requirements is expected. The position is aimed at skilled nurses capable of delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. All RTO (Request Time Off) must be finalized at the time of submission with a maximum of 7 days allowed. No new RTO requests will be accepted after submission. No RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment. Candidates must fulfill the terms of their signed agreements in full. Modules must be completed prior to the start date to avoid delays. All certifications must be up to date according to the specific requirements prior to compliance deadlines.
