Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,130 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Ability to float between Medical/Surgical units Weekend rotation required every fourth weekend Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care. The nurse will work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Patient ratios will be between 1:4 to 1:5. The unit covers a variety of patient types including medicine, colorectal surgery, urology surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic reconstructions, and general surgery. The daily census budgeted for the unit is 8 to 10 patients. Nurses will float between units to meet facility needs. All travelers must meet floating requirements within their service line. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. All RTO must be finalized prior to submission. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is mandatory. Travelers must be prepared to comply with all training and certification requirements. All skills related to Medical/Surgical nursing will be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
