Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,131 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MedSurg Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Experience in med/surg nursing Description: This position involves providing care to both surgical and medical patients. Common surgical patients include those undergoing total joints, fractures, bariatric surgery, urology, and general surgeries. Common medical patients may include individuals with CHF, CVA, SOB, or diabetic issues. The unit has a bed capacity of 61. The nurse-to-patient ratio during the day is 1:5 and 1:6 during the night. RNs are not required to titrate drips. The unit is equipped with CPAP and BiPap for respiratory support. Telemetry is available, with monitor technicians reading strips and RNs confirming them. Weekend and holiday work is required on an every-other basis. There is a call or standby requirement. Floating to other units is required. Any color scrubs are acceptable as per dress code.
