Job Description

Job Title: Med-Surg Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Adult Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: Not Specified Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: Not Specified Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a med-surg setting. - Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend. Description: The position primarily involves working in a surgical department. There is some medical overlap due to bed availability to meet patient needs. Agency staff are typically scheduled for every other weekend. The manager is willing to discuss holiday requests. The unit consists of 35 private patient rooms. There are two nurses' stations available. A shift supervisor is present on duty. The nurse-to-patient ratio on night shifts is 1:5-6. Patient care technicians are available on each shift to assist. Position urgency is normal.
