Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, holiday rotationHighlights:- 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratio- Comprehensive support staff including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management- Documentation via Meditech electronic medical record system- Diverse patient population including respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry monitoring, and post-operative care- Standard medical equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, walkers, and monitoring devices- Opportunity to work with patients requiring CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin dripsRequirements:- Active RN license in good standing- BLS certification required- Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred- Experience with respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI conditions, and telemetry monitoring- Oncology and general surgery patient experience preferred but not required- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills- Must adhere to navy blue scrub dress codeWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to join a well-supported Medical-Surgical team where you'll care for a diverse patient population while developing your clinical skills.
