There is no call requirement. 75% of patients are post-acute stroke cases, with some cardiac patients, as well as patients experiencing weakness, deconditioning, and those needing acute rehabilitation. The unit is small, accommodating 17 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
