Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Macon, GA. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in various inpatient MedSurg units. Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide professional nursing care to acutely and chronically ill patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment
- Administer medications and intravenous solutions according to facility policy
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- BLS required
- ACLS preferred (EKG competency exam required during onboarding)
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- Proficiency in trach care, chest tube management, and IV maintenance
- Experience with insulin, heparin, Cardizem, and other specified drips
