Description:
The position is for a registered nurse in a medical-surgical unit.
The duration of the assignment is 13 weeks.
The schedule includes rotating shifts of 7 AM to 7 PM.
The role requires 36 hours of work per week, with weekends every other week and holidays as needed.
The patient population includes those with cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal conditions, substance abuse issues, and medical diagnoses that may involve psychiatric disorders.
The unit has 38 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 during daytime shifts and 1:6 during nighttime shifts.
The patient care technician to patient ratio is 1:10.
Telemetry experience is necessary for effective patient care.
Strong IV skills are also a requirement for the role.
