Job Title: Med Surg Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 12 (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years current nursing experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - RN license - 2 years current nursing experience - BLS Description: Looking for a Med Surg Nurse with experience in post-surgical care. The ideal candidate will have worked on a unit with adult inpatient acute care. Specialization in rehabilitation care for amputation, spinal cord injury/dysfunction, complex medical conditions, brain injury and illness, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke is required. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights. This is an 18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. 36 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. Weekend requirement is 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule. No call requirement. Holidays as needed. Float as needed to areas of like skill set.
