Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,170 per week in Des Moines, IA

This position will require floating across various campuses as needed. The nurse will provide care to patients with general medical and surgical needs. The unit typically has a bed size of 24-26 with a patient to nurse ratio of 1:4-8. Candidates must be comfortable with heparin drips and titration. The position involves working nights with a holiday rotation and every third weekend commitment. Candidates must have completed a travel contract in the past 24 months. The nurse will be expected to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Nurses must have a strong understanding of medical and surgical nursing practices.
