Job Title: Med Surg Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active RN License in California Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (preferred), PALS (preferred) Must-Have: - Active license to practice verified within the last 30 days - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency - Completed Med/Surg skills checklist within the last 12 months - At least 24 hours guaranteed per week Description: This is a Med Surg Registered Nurse position. Candidates must hold an active RN license in California and possess current BLS certification from an approved vendor. ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred but not required. Candidates must have at least 24 months of Med/Surg nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months. Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to background check standards and compliance requirements. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments can expedite the hiring process. No requests for time off will be accepted during the first week of assignment. Candidates must provide a driver's license to verify residency. All certifications should be from approved vendors. Resumes must include all relevant facilities and departments worked, trauma level designations, and the number of beds. Candidates should be prepared to begin working on the specified start date or no more than one week later.
