Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,187 per week in Easton, MD

Job Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, CPI, NIH preferred Must-Have: Strong medical/surgical and orthopedic/joint experience. Ability to float within specialty and related areas as needed. Flexibility for weekend and holiday work. Description: The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in the orthopedic/joint replacement center. Shift is 3x12 hours during the night. The nurse must possess strong clinical skills in managing orthopedic conditions. Patient ratios are approximately 1:6. Floating may be required within the specialty and to sister facilities. Nurses will be expected to administer medications, perform procedures, and provide patient education. Compliance with safety protocols is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in charting systems, preferably Epic. Flexibility for on-demand scheduling is necessary. The role includes working effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Weekend shifts and holiday work will be required as per schedule.
