Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,188 per week in Papillion, NE

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Driver's license Description: Registered Nurses will be responsible for providing compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients. RNs must complete a pass/fail exam during orientation. This is an open book exam, and candidates will have all necessary resources to pass. A minimum score of 90% is required to pass. RN to patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night. There will be a charge nurse on each shift who will take on assignments. Patient care techs will be present at a ratio of 1:10. Shifts will be scheduled with no block scheduling. Weekend and holiday requirements will vary based on the needs of the unit. There may be a requirement to float to the emergency room for 1:1 patient observation. Navy blue scrubs are the designated uniform, and travelers will be integrated into the unit's culture. Artificial nails are not allowed in any patient care departments. Requests for time off should be submitted upfront, with no additional time off approved after the initial submission. The facility reserves the right to cancel a limited number of shifts during the assignment period. The charting system used in the unit is EPIC.
