Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,196 per week in Silverton, OR

Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, EPIC Must-Have: Must be willing to float between Medical Surgical and ICU as needed Description: Seeking a traveler to float between Medical Surgical and ICU. Medical Surgical will be the primary unit, but floating to ICU will be required when needed. One year of experience is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Must be able and willing to work on Thanksgiving and one additional holiday. Refusal to float as requested may result in cancellation of the contract. Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week of the assignment. Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient care includes various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is expected to be between 12-15 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and others. Background review must not include felony convictions. All compliance documents must be completed prior to the start date. RNs are required to complete an Epic Test-Out module. Travelers must provide one professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager.
