- Must be available for the first 2 weeks of assignment for orientation.
- Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (e.g., RN, LPN, Techs).
- Must be willing to float to other Med/Surg units.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit.
This is a night shift position requiring candidates to work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.
Candidates should be comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 at night, with potential flexing to 7-8 patients paired with LPN support.
Experience in a variety of medical patient care settings is preferred, including ortho/neurovascular and cardio/pulmonary cases.
Surgical patients may include those recovering from GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies.
Candidates must be adaptable and willing to float to other units based on staffing needs, typically once per week.
