Position: RN – Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDI) SNSNSN
Location: Pomona, California (Remote)
Shift: Days – 5x8s (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PST)
Duration: 13 weeks (potential for extension)
• Perform clinical documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
• Complete a minimum of 20 chart reviews per day with at least a 20% query rate.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify documentation.
• Apply knowledge of MS-DRG / APR-DRG methodologies to optimize reimbursement and quality metrics.
• Support denial prevention initiatives through accurate and compliant documentation.
• Utilize systems such as 3M 360 and Cerner for documentation and workflow management.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with CMS and hospital standards.
