Job Description
TravelNurseSource is working with Pyramid Consulting, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lincoln, Maine, 04457!
- Perform initial, ongoing, and discharge nursing assessments for patients of all age groups.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Provide safe, evidence-based patient care within the scope of the Maine Nursing Practice Act.
- Administer medications using the Five Rights and evaluate patient responses.
- Communicate patient status, care activities, and changes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in bedside rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and care coordination.
- Provide patient/family education and ensure understanding of discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policies.
- Promote patient and staff safety and ensure equipment and supplies are available and functional.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency/disaster preparedness activities
